Return and Refund Policy

At Heftceramics, we are committed to delivering artisan-grade home decor that meets the highest standards of aesthetic and structural integrity. To maintain an equitable commercial relationship with our global clientele, all returns and financial reconciliations are governed by the following master policy.

1. INITIAL CONSIGNMENT INSPECTION & CRITICAL DAMAGE REPORTING

Given the fragile nature of our Artisan Vases and Decor Accents, we mandate a strict inspection protocol upon delivery.

  • 48-Hour Reporting Mandate: Any claims involving logistical damage (breakage), manufacturing defects, or order discrepancies must be filed via support@heftceramics.com within 48 hours of the carrier’s "Delivered" timestamp.
  • Evidence Requirements: Claims must include high-resolution digital imagery of the damaged merchandise AND the original shipping container (including the carrier label). Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in the declination of the claim.

2. CORE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR RETURNS

We provide a 30-day voluntary return window from the date of confirmed receipt. To qualify for a restitution or exchange, the merchandise must satisfy the "As-New" standard:

  • Integrity: Items must be in their original, uninstalled, and pristine condition.
  • Packaging: All proprietary internal protection (molded foam, silk inserts, specialized sleeves) and external brand packaging must be returned intact.
  • Documentation: A valid digital invoice or order number is required for all reconciliations.

3. RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) PROTOCOL

To ensure logistical precision, Heftceramics does not accept unauthorized parcels.

  • The RMA Process: Customers must solicit a formal Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to dispatch.
  • Risk of Loss: Returns sent without an authorized RMA number, or to an incorrect warehouse address, will be rejected. Heftceramics assumes no liability for unauthorized shipments lost in transit.

4. ALLOCATION OF REVERSE LOGISTICS COSTS

  • Merchant-Fault Returns: If the return arises from a verified product defect or a mis-shipment by Heftceramics, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label and assume full logistical liability.
  • Consumer-Elective Returns: For "Change of Mind" or subjective preference returns, the customer assumes full responsibility for insured return shipping costs. Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final credit.

5. NON-RECURRING & EXCLUDED ASSETS

The following categories are strictly ineligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Bespoke/Customized Orders: Any pieces modified or created specifically to customer specifications.
  • Final Sale/Closeout Items: Merchandise clearly designated as "Final Sale" at the point of purchase.
  • Gift Instruments: Digital or physical gift cards.

6. JURISDICTIONAL WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS (EU/UK)

In compliance with international consumer protection statutes, residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom possess a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. Such requests must be submitted within 14 days of receipt, and the goods must remain in a condition suitable for resale.

7. VERIFICATION & FINAL SETTLEMENT

  • Quality Assurance Audit: Upon arrival at our facility, all returned items undergo a comprehensive technical inspection within 5 business days.
  • Method of Reimbursement: Approved refunds will be executed exclusively via the original payment instrument (Credit Card/PayPal).
  • Processing Cycle: Please allow 7–10 business days for our internal reconciliation. Depending on your financial institution's policies, the credit may require an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your formal statement.
